We just left Chino, CA where we stopped for diesel, burgers and bathroom stop. It’s been a fairly uneventful day (if you call driving from Spanaway to LA on I-5 in an old school bus)! We got to this infamous uphill climb called the Grapevine and true to form we over heated 3x and had to pour all sorts of water on the radiator. Lucky for us there are pullouts available w/ hose bibs for water. We made it over the top and headed down into the afternoon commute for about 100 miles. We’re ok, the bus is ok, we’re moving. Can’t get any better than that.
We talked to Rudy this afternoon and he reported the following incredible news: inside the church all drywall, trim, electrical, bees, doors, windows and paneling has been removed. Also he has removed part of the sub roof. So one of my Teams has now been freed up to double up on the truss removal & installation.
Cameron and Tammy just reminded all of us that we’ve been on the road for 24 hours and we’ve driven over a 1,000 miles!
Please pray that we cross the Border with no hassles! Thank you for your support, we wouldn’t be doing this Mission’s trip without all of you! Signing off: Peter, Sandy, Debbie, Tamy, Gabriel, Samuel and Cameron.
