On Monday, we gathered for the first day of clinic at New Jerusalem Church to find that all of the team were *under the weather* (to say the least!) but they managed to see the day to its end and saw just over 60 patients.
The sun rose on Tuesday for the team to see just over 50 patients in the clinic. At the end of the day, we packed up our equipment and supplies and headed to Ciudad Nueva, where the next days clinic would be held.
At Ciudad Nueva on Wednesday, all on the team were feeling more and more like their usual selves, and we entered the church to find patients promptly awaiting our arrival. We saw 53 patients through the doors and headed back to our homes before 7:00pm.
All in all, we've seen a great start to this clinic week, and are so excited about what God can do with what we have started. The main thing we ask that you pray for tonight is-
Health- Since our first trip here to Tacna, we've seen a significant increase in the number of patients dealing with diabetes. Pray that all of the patients we see are able to apply the advice given to them about how to monitor and control diabetes and other issues that pose health concerns here.
Also keep the team in your prayers, as we dodge future bugs and get rid of the one in our systems.
Thanks again for your support, and we will see you soon!
